Thy solitude encompasses my presenceA Poem by Balkaran SidhuI was the fallen petal of autumn A shy hue of artistic thoughts I arose from the dead, smiling at the world as a admirer Time had corroded my craft. I had become the frail ice of the lake rectified The look of deepness in the eyes of The decaying enlightenment of the understanding years The faded summer touch of the spring. That made love to your spirit, from the compelling universe I was a gloom from the moon-lit pools of old souls A chase for the curving stalk of hope A verse of pacifying phrases of reverie. I am now a blaze of new expectation comfortable in the glory of my poverty printing prosperous dreams in her misery searching rainbows in the scattered clouds. I cherish the magnetic spells of her charm I withstand tragedies and regrets I am the dazzled shadow of your mirror Lurking in the corners of your absolute solitude.
