My essence swims towards your spirit

My essence swims towards your spirit

A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu

I who write these verses today
Shall sing to the divine arcadia in you
like the petals of omnipotence
of ideals from such eminent flavors .

I want to drink your crystal-pure abeyance
I want to taste your artistic euphoria
And  in your moral depths of innocence
I shall discover new paths to the superlative.

I build castles for you,in the blue heaven
Mirrors of pleasant in the dark
Our rays of sorrow, placid gardens of synthesis
Where we learned the fine art of remembering

Where I can never love enough
in this wavering life,so brief
I who portray these stanzas today
Only to unlock the mystery of your majesty.

Of ideals of our crowded nobility
In your platonic dignified form
I sing to you of fiery images divine
where I learn the unique ways of loving.

This is interesting... It feels like an outpouring of love. Only it seems to translate from a cultural perspective that I don't totally relate with. Still, even if some of this gets lost in translation, I found it very endearing.
Well done. You will break hearts with this one.

Somehow; I am receiving the mumbles of a drug addiction whispering. What hinted me is the word euphoria; a common use in poetry but has quite a differing description government-wise. After grasping a faint hum of said love (frowned upon where I reside), all the pieces seemed to just . . . connect. Mind you, not easily; but in the tight way where you would think it would not work but will if you place a bit of pressure on it . . .

I really like this new style, especially the first 2 stanzas, some lines really stood out too like:

1. Our rays of sorrow, placid gardens of synthesis
Where we learned the fine art of remembering

2.I sing to you of fiery images divine
where I learn the unique ways of loving.

One of your strongest pieces to date imho.

A profound sense of love that grows into many things to include selflessness, forgiving and certainly the pleasures of life. It may be possible to find such an expression in life in the world ... if not we may preserve a sanctuary for it in our hearts for that special someday. Great going!

Caring about someone in an almost religious sense; that can be dangerous, but it's a side
of love many experience. Great piece!
