If there is no future in our palms

If there is no future in our palms

A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu

My stream of hope runs to you
You can provide them hosipatility of your heart
My paramount escalations, inside your fondle
Enamored by the outpouring of life in you!

With the clouds of my tenderness
let me deluge my authanticity over you
a shower of my pristine bluntness
feel the pleasant odor before it rains.

Touch the soft petals of my heart
so absorbing,drenched in dew
the precious gem of ethical mist
the spleandour of vivid pigmentation

But a thought lurks sometimes
if there is no future in our palms
why do we need to search for a mirror
to see the inevitability sneaking through.

Perhaps my passion makes me opaque
Frosty as my verses of love
Silent past deprives me of a friend
I am in haunted woods of solitude.

Normally, I'd hate colored words; but in this case the color actually promotes mental thought. I quite like the imagery and dream-like state of this poem.

This is really great! I love this poem a lot! I can visualize it and I felt...IDK...fresh...after reading this.
For the title...maybe just pull out some part of the poem like, "Soft Petals of My Heart" or something like that. IDK, I usually do that with my poems.
Keep it up!

I love the imagery in the poem, as I was reading it I imagined a stream sunning in to fantasy purples and blues merging together and by the end an empty forest came in to view. I feel refreshed after reading this, a great piece!

The bards who wrote of Radha/Krishna weren't writing about a two people they knew. But we know of these bards as dear friends today. Seek them and you have you friend.

"If there is no future in our palms" all the suffering would be for naught, silence can be a such a sad bedfellow. wonderful words, I can relate, mirrors and reflections ,
rain and dew, go to words that seem to be circling like wild fire on this site as well as mountains, streams, dreams and silence, but you have used them so wonderfully in this write.

This title is genius. Really odd choice of vocab in this one, curious.

I enjoyed this read.
