Colorless RainbowA Poem by Balkaran SidhuA piece of colorless rainbow standing among the robbed clouds Shapeless and remorseless over the misty sky. It has rained today It rained yesterday too But I don't see colors in the sky Because the Sun is Spurious. I’m waiting for a piece of colorless rainbow To appear from somewhere To emerge from nothingness To justify the existence of god. I am waiting for a love that doesn't exist Happiness that wasn't meant to be returned Hope that won't turn to ashes Dreams that won't turn to nightmares. I am waiting for some real emotions, Real people, too real to disappear unlike those fragile clouds and that cold, bitter moon. I am not being illogical I am just waiting for the rainbow And another piece of colorless rainbow.
