Colorless Rainbow

Colorless Rainbow

A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu

A piece of colorless rainbow
standing among the robbed clouds
Shapeless and  remorseless
over the misty sky.

It has rained  today
It rained  yesterday too
But I don't see colors in the sky
Because the Sun is Spurious.

I’m waiting for a piece of colorless rainbow
To appear from somewhere
To emerge from nothingness
To justify the existence of god.

I am waiting for a love that doesn't exist
Happiness that wasn't meant to be returned
Hope that won't turn to ashes
Dreams that won't turn to nightmares.

I am waiting for some real emotions,
Real people, too real to disappear
unlike those fragile clouds
and that cold,bitter moon.

I am not being illogical
I am just waiting for the rainbow
And another piece of colorless rainbow.

What shall I say.....?
It's beautiful... your waiting will be over soon.....

I can't even tell you how this poem made me react... It made my heart skip a beat, yet it also slowed... Oh, why do I always end up speechless and breathless when I read your work?!?

An amazing writing in search of hope that might not exist...totally beautiful. You brewed it and i must say i love the whole idea of this poem starting with its title. This is really amazing.

a beautiful write.i can painfully relate to the 4th stanza.something that would linger when the conscious leaps from eyes to hands...

thanx.... :) ...i feel blessed when my work is read and reviewed
robbed clouds? was interesting.
The third and fourth stanza opens this poem up to what the writer is getting at for me. The fifth stanza showed the heart of the matter. This was different, a venting catharsis. Healthy for the writer a little draining for the reader but honest and as you say...real. Enjoyed.

I wonder if a colourless rainbow would be all black, all gray, pr all white?

perhaps white.......translucent
I really liked this, especially the emotions you are detailing, but I did find it hard to acquire a mental image of a "colorless rainbow"...a translucent rainbow maybe, anyhow loved the writing
