Sonnet 3: How Beautiful is the Damsel I love?

Sonnet 3: How Beautiful is the Damsel I love?

A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu
"

My third sonnet :)

"
How beautiful is the Damsel I love?
Majestic than the full moon night
thou beauty attained from the wild blue yonder above
whence the god seeketh all his divine light.

Those luscious words that echo from thy lips
Thy smile like a ambrosial  spring day
That my heart and solitudinarian soul sips
All reverted from my very own fay

But thy Internal beauty more adorable, buckled with angelic grace

Embroidered all with leaves of myrtle.

So celestial that I can't stop to praise

thy soul must be attired with sacred kirtle.

As thou would canonize me like a Deity

So I shalt love thee till eternity.

Superb! indeed the beauty a sonnet should have-the elegance which makes a sonnet-the element of grace - this has it all.
Very well done!!!

Thanx :)
I love sonnetts. This was fun to read, though in my personal opinion archaic speech like thou and whilst and words like that seem to b suffer the true emotions of a poem. Since the archaic language was intentional, though, I liked it, in the way u can appreciate the beauty of an antique craft item. Nice work

thanx james
THis is so beautiful. Your portrayal is exquisite; you have giventhis woman attributes a human being can hardly hope to achieve.

I believe thepronoun in your third line should read "thy" instead of thou. Also you should not use contractions with this archaic English.
