My festive choirA Poem by Balkaran SidhuA special poem on this auspicious day of Diwali!
Somewhere across the winter world tonight
We hear chimes that fill the air The festival of lights extends all its charm enfolding the chroma and the flare. Across the distance, something we shall share. These familiar hymns we know so well And we will see those same stars in the sky And wish upon that brightest one that fell. So many candles and spiritual lights on air flicker They flicker and they float My thoughts are enlightened by all those chandeliers of hope. And I all the while drench myself in fireworks of my spirit the young veins with partial divinity filled with my very own grit. So tonight I would glimpse the dreams And all the time that we had to be apart I will gather all my spirituality to light a eternal candle in my heart. © 2012 Balkaran SidhuReviews
