liked the last line the best.to be honest, this piece felt bleak after i read your"colorless rainbow".perhaps i can feel the emotions what others felt after undergoing the real thing in life....though i hope i'll be spared the pain of heartbreaks. this one felt more like a modern sad song ya know,i could hear melancholic guitar beats in the background.
I agree with the other comments! This is a fabulous poem and made me cry, because my ex-boyfriend came into my mind. He's all that I think about and he wanted me to forget that basically we dated and become the bestest of friends. It seemed so impossible since my heart always cried out for him. His memories still linger and haunt me while I try to go to sleep at night. People always tells me that I don't know what love is and I haven't quite experienced it yet. How can they dare tell me that? Love isn't based upon certain genders, races, or ages. It's knowing the true definition of what it means. I know how you feel on your last stanza. I don't know how to forget him. I can't throw away notes from him, or pictures we have taken in the past. Sadly, I have them stored in my room. Like you mentioned, the best that I can do is put on my brave face! Bravo! Adding this to my library! :)
