This loss can't be repaidA Poem by Balkaran SidhuFather mourns on the loss of his son...
I stand before a vision,so dreadful
knees weakened and shoulders weighted becoming regretful for I questioned what God had since fated. I only have a picture now A frozen piece of time To remind me of how we were When you were mine. I used to see your smiling eyes Each morning when I woke I talked to you, kissed you you were my chap,my little bloke. The god took you away from me It was like my worst nightmare, that came true in the day The ache is deep inside my heart And its never going away If only they had asked me If I would take your place I would have done so willingly,my son Leaving you this world to grace. You should have had so much more to watch your life unfold And in the amidst of this Watch me and your Mother grow old This loss is so heavy It can't be repaid Oh God you have taken everything from me But his memories will never fade... © 2012 Balkaran SidhuAuthor's Note
