When I think of love
I think of you the beautiful curve on your face like those curls crafted in Himalayas though they are not beautiful than your smile. And how you tie your hair in plaits above The puff like a high tide of the sea And then I think of your eyes deeper than the ocean's depth And those little black circles in them make your vision alcoholic and when they lay upon me I lose my wits No melody is sweeter than the words echoed from your tongue I think of you And all my universe becomes perfection. When I think of love, I think of you. I think of you as the sweet summer breeze, brushing every leaf of my heart And those honey like words you whisper I would require an age to contemplate And then I think of your gait like those lovely little pigeons with their head down and eyes closed As swift to me,as heavenly light. And what to say about your heart and soul the purest of its kind. But were you with me, dear love The happiness would take my breath away No thought could match that ecstasy No song can encompass it No other words for it. © 2012 Balkaran SidhuReviews
