I am not that bad

I am not that bad

A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu

Where did I go wrong
Was falling in love my biggest mistake
I deserve a second chance
mistakes are something everybody make
And I have been rejected before
from my peoply,my very own
But this time I am going to wait on the door
I am not that bad.

But she has started to lie
And my smile has been extincted
tears roll on,I cry
I am guilty And of that I confess
I have been thinking of that girl
I am sorry if it causes distress
But I am not that bad

I am trying to shed no tears for the life that I've led
I am having an angel in my head
But she is leaving me
commiting me to a lifetime in hell
I mourn on my unluck
and I don't know where my innocence fell
I've bathed in sunshine
but cherished the fading light
And I heard my heartbeat faulter
on a winter's night
I love that girl but she doesn't hear my prayers
So Lord, oh Lord, I'm yours
Save me from myself
cause you know I am not that bad..

No, certainly you're not that bad.
Ilove the line: "I mourn on my unluck". Sometimes we have good luck,; sometimes we have bad luck and sometimes we have unluck.
