Tears of Simona

Tears of Simona

A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu
"

Rolling tears...

"
Simona!
You have a heart of gold
but pain is etched onto your skin
its been a while
since one had the privilge to see your grin.

The priceless tears roll down your cheeks
They taste bitter and sour
but as you try to stop them
they come out even more.

And your sufferings...has no ending
unimaginable agony in your life
your vision is not sharp anymore
its becoming more like a blunt knife.

The rain of sorrows isn't stopping
the gusting wind reflects the eyeing glare
and you look upto your luck
the luck that has never been fair.

Your skinny fingers tremble
your cold hands are now numb
in this autumn of your life
you feel like you are a meaningless scum.

If you had wings
you would have flown away
and hopefully god will give you some
on some another day.

And I see a glimmer of hope in your eyes
The faith on god still alive
So I pray
Hope that he gives you for what you thrive.
