The Truth

One of my mindless mindful poems!

Deceived by the illusions of fear,
Our uncertain hearts tempt us to flee,
Failure to recognize that we summoned the monsters.

Torn apart at the seams of life- of reality,
Allowing hate to conquer our times and culture,
Devouring us from the inside out, it simply grins.

Who shall remember us as the heroes,
When we have already become villains?
