I loved you

I loved you

A Poem by Tay

I loved you before I knew you
I felt your little fingers against my skin
Or maybe it was your foot?
Did you have hair?
A gender, with my eyes or his?
I loved you before I knew you
I had dreams of you in my arms
Rocking silently against my chest
You were perfect
10 fingers 10 toes
Even a cute little nose
He hit me and ruined you
Shook me
Punched me
Left me on the sidewalk
I cried for you
For what he took away from me
I loved you before I met you
And he stole you from me...

I love you. A precious baby will always love the mother that carried them. Such a sad, beautiful poem.
