Lonely StoneA Poem by Ryan AdalemFor all those bitter lovers out there.
Like what the prophet has written
There is nothing hidden that will not be unveiled So here we are at the tryst You don't have to hide through reticence Our love is only a feeling And all is frustratingly in vain Why does tantalous love stay Far beyond the reach of my hands? Through the rasp in your voice now I know that you took me for granted All your words were just chamomile Stunning my senses unable to realize That you have addled me through senseless syllables Those words, deathly shocking pink Now, the separation such scarring sooth That ephemeral is our relation in truth This cut, my heart will incur You devoid, still sitting on this place Once again I am with Madam Loneliness Here we are still in silent togetherness.
