Take Me Away

"Who are you?" She screamed

"Who am i? Well I'm Peter pan darling"

"Why are you here?" She whispered 

"I'm here to take you to Neverland, I've watched you the last few months and I've seen how you act and how you feel and I'm here to take you away from all the pain you feel."

"But i thought Neverland was for lost boys?" She quietly said, not fully believing this was happening 

"Well that is true my dear, but you, you're special and I've taken a liking to you, You're strong and don't let anything get the best of you. So would you like to come or not?"

"...Okay but how are we supposed to get there, how does this work exactly?"

He motioned her to the window that was open, he grabbed her arm and whispered

"Believe in me and believe and you." She grabbed his arm and closed her eyes, the next thing she knew she was on the island. She was terrified of leaving the people she called family but after a few days with the lost boys and with Peter Pan, she knew one thing and one thing only. She finally realized she had a family.

Interesting take on this poem. I felt I was watching the movie all over again with a twist. I expected a different ending but one cannot limit an author's creative.
