Sweet corruption in a demon's lips

Rebel bliss, it's just a kiss

Angelic destrucion in innocence

Seduction- slow combustion

 

Holy water melts him

Swells in his heart with

The darkness inherited

When he fell in with sin

 

Fell out of line when

Her black wings did blind him

Suddenly he likes it

But she doesn't want him dead

 

Allowing self-restriction

The angel and the demon

Count the throbs of holy pain

Counting down their time

 

Already he'd been closing

In on the devil's heart

Added to his previous mistakes

Her touch tears him apart

 

One touch- can't be stopped or blamed

The second means the end

I knew a few demons in my time. Leave a desire needed to be fulfilled again after tasting the sweetness. I like the struggle and decision of angel and demon. Sometime hard to tell the different. A powerful story in this amazing poem. I like it. Thank you for the excellent poem.
