With a Crow on Top

old one i really wanted to post before i forgot about it

Fingers are spires rising

reach for desires in clouds

black crosses claw at the sky

tear it open

 

Enter its shadow look up

to the gargoiles flashing their

onix teeth pleading, please

old cheese

with a crow on top

 

On top the main spire carrion

drips from the sky bleeding

hearts in ribbed cages beating

I look forward to feeding

 

Bird calls

 

Weeping meat castle with a crow on top

It's just that.. I saw a crow on top of my imaginary cathedral one day and had no clue what it was supposed to mean.. x3

I like the crow. A lot of mystery with this bird. In many stories crow can lead you to a better place. I enjoyed the story in the poem. Using the building to give the crow mystery and create question. Thank you for the excellent poem.
