La Honda, ZacatecasA Poem by Poe Reddpretty much describing my time in MexicoDusted to perfection on a corona-littered earth Hide me from nothing, this is the reason for my birth Waiting to break any heart dropped into my hands But i can't have a familiar poised with gross unfair commands I shall remain strange to these stranger deranged folk A mystery here, black stillness, silent wolf awoke But nothing stops to tease me from my my dangerous revery Hearing voices calling, far away, just slaying me Never me they're calling, though they wanted to be kissed Heads turn to me with stares and, by reflex, i turn and hiss Could have been kissed last night but they smelled the air was beer Could have been paid last night but my family was near Yes, I'm hot, but the night was cold And I'm still young, or so I'm told © 2011 Poe ReddAuthor's Note
