< Heartbreak 3A Poem by Poe Reddstarring me! as the BreakerNever-ever wants another Needs another day Once a breaker, twice a breaker Ever-breaking heart fever Love for want, a broken soul Yet another confliction Addition to my ever-life Your never-wife Longs for this intriguing sight: Me, standing, facing you Grey eyes looking into blue No longer will I be confused I am amused Suddenly you fall. (I shake you all! Forever fall.) Laughing, heartfelt, so at ease Bringing your heart to its knees I kneel... I pull a chain from out of sight Hot white Still you don't fight Eyeing me, unsure. What is to become of you? Now your chest is gaping, open, bleeding I watch your heart so slowly beating Beating, slower, slower You start flailing, Foaming, wailing Around your heart, the chain I tie Don't worry so. You will not die. Now fastened tight around your life, I pull the chain You scream (The waning moon frowns down on me.) Confident fingers sew you up. You gasp for breath. "What did you do?" you ask I drag you to a metal stake, a few yards away Though you struggle, suddenly resisting Still, it's me that you'll be missing I tie the chain around the stake "I'm sentencing you to Heartbreak." © 2011 Poe ReddAuthor's Note
