Harsh LightA Poem by Poe Reddno desc.
I am countless
peace-defying ripples of military waves, skin stretched over cleansing darkness. Deep is the place the evil goes to repent. This is the field of buried treasure. My bare skin seduces storms. I've been bedded by Thor. I am Eve drowning Adam. I'm the last virgin w***e. I am Abel's sacred blood come full-circle, for the lost to drink. I am their resting place. And I swell with the music like an orchestra of lupine phantoms at the harsh light of the moon. Whole as one soul I am a broken mirror shard that serves the scorching fires of the sun and her vanity. And these pearls, they are my heart, and I wear them on my sleeve. How would you have me dress? Drown your majestic blood in the filth of the earth. Soil your bright lunar face in the used charmin ultra soft of the parasitic divine. I'd smother the sun. I would have you dressed in grey and the tears of Alice, as it should be. Cover yourself, shameful daughter. My greedy, your blemishes. My bitter, your intoxication. My suicidal, your cancer. And I'd have you cover your pearls, hide them away forever, in the dark where the evil repent.
