Tension within this occupied body
Swolen because of this numb heart beating
Tragically without a tragedy
Carefully kept from bleeding

Hurting because it's uncertain
Why a god or grasshopper shouldn't hurt
What it means to inflict a feeling
All due suffering for what this life's worth

but God an grasshoppers do hurt too. I absalutely love the first stanza, it attracts me somehow.. great write Poe:)
