Carnival SilenceA Poem by Poe Reddno desc.Carnival of redundant lines revisit
totaled ears in mock prayer praying for the beginning to recreate the mind. Even after the pause our breaths in wisps take turn to hum the melody phantom to find the next course. Music in intervals picks its prize from lines of ready souls- who takes time to stop and be shocked when earth has stopped spinning. Spins with the ride- stars trailing after the sky in waking lullaby merry-making. A silent croud of one and eachother- each a sprite of longing to join with eachother as one note. Anticipation rains from gyrating lights, electric seduction in a question concerning the time 'til it quits and gives in to our mass-impatience. Dismounts into a pondering solo introducing us to the dirt and its inhabitants; pieces of us tunneling to live with the artist. The night folds in on itself holding to its heart the voices of each emotion. The noise screams once and flattens to assist us and paralyzes; our blood is no more, our hearts pulse like amps. Outstretched arms turn palms searching for the source. Growing in height grasps it- And falls when lights blink out curtains close, notes exhale air leans heavy on every listening zombie, every face falls. Waiting. Through silence we pant with upturned tongues, we beg with fingers elongated from reaching, our mouths empty. Through silence we are hungry. © 2012 Poe ReddAuthor's Note
