In Remembrance

In Remembrance

A Poem by A Christine
"

September 11, 2007

"
Many, many lives were lost.
They cared so much, it didn't matter the cost.
Now we mourn and remember,
All those forgotten on this 11th day of September.
All those lives are lost forever,
Now those families need love more than ever.
We thank God, each dying day,
That it wasn't our family that was pulled away.
But what if it happened to you?
Would you believe it, know it's all true?
Give today a moment of silence,
And hope we can end the sorrow, pain and violence.
Live each day, and tomorrow,
To remember all lives lost; with deep, sad, sorrow.
A day has come that we'll remember,
as a cold, lonely, eleventh day of September.

SEPTEMBER 11, 2001. WE SHALL NEVER FORGET.
