Connection MadeA Poem by RalphyConnection Made Anger seeps through the ground as the soft clay drips to the pits below where moans spit into the inferno as carbon and gases bellow outward. Piercing ears drums As screams, add to the echoes that skips along the canyon walls to the hollow depths of collective souls. Cries above As tears flow like rivers pouncing on the traumatized pavement; warping the faces of those who have lost in the aftermath of our changing planet. Clutching fist Waling, hatred, dreadful depression and in just a matter of a minute all their hope was lost. The heart opens Exposing all the intricate parts Each chamber awaits the embrace For you begin to synchronize now breath as one. Each hand Grips the brothers and sisters, While pulling the survivors through the darkness And as the heart reaches out from the chest You watch each compression as it beats… You feel The wetness of each tear that drops from their eyes, each scream that screeches through the air, shaking the tiniest nerves. Each throbbing pain Of bones and flesh, felt throughout one’s body exposing the harsh reality that is stamped in our minds forever. Can you feel the engulfing halo? The electricity wraps around our soul, allowing the vision to finally clear, touching each part of the exposed heart as it continuously beats in harmony. Come a little closer Those walls that use to block us are no longer, we have crossed those boundaries now all we need to do is hold on… For in these shattered dreams, Knowledge allows us to give a new world, a rebirth, a new light Emotions allows us to give Kindness, caring, tender love, understanding… For all these suffering souls the radiating glow from your eyes brings new hope to their lives and along with it comes… A belief Belief in you, Belief in me Belief in us I believe … the world believes God Believes Connection Made © 2010 RalphyFeatured Review
