Tic Tac Toe

Tic Tac Toe

A Poem by Ralphy
"

Name says it all

"

Tic Tac Toe

My life has seen

so much pain

in the aftermath

of embedded misery

that coats the heart,

and blocks the lungs

so as not to inhale

the existences,

or flow with the beat

that makes the soul grow.

The eyes become dim;

touch seems distant,

for thoughts occupy

the defeat of life...

but those that challenge

dying words,

chase through the forest,

singing sweet hymns.

Life has become a draw,

for good has melded with evil

and happiness has opened doors

of what can be,

and has paved the floor

through heart wrenching obstacles…

Tic Tac Toe

Your poem says it all... in love we all to often feel like we need to win before someone else beat us.

Awesom poem. It was very well written. It has a dreat message. I love it. I was trying to pick out my fave part before and i had so much trouble cause the whole thing was so good. But if I had to pick it would be the last stanza before the tic tac toe part. Greata job.
