Soul Watcher

Soul Watcher

Soul Watcher

I love when your eyes are open wide
And the sun fills the path with tender rays
So that I can see deep inside your soul
It’s not easy to get pass those pretty blues

Often I get sidetrack, by your other qualities
Like your freckles, your nose, and hair
That is not my objective,

For I’m a soul watcher, that’s what I do
Now and then, you give me a glimpse in your window
As I watch, you unlock the door with your golden key…
It opens with a web of disguise

And along the winding road through your soul,
Chambers conceal your most precious moments
For me, you share a panorama of you
Then carefully lock it away, and hide the key
Hoping that no one will ever see

Wow.. such substance here.. very provoking..a soul-watcher... usually if someone is trying to hide something it is fear of being hurt.. usually because they have been hurt more than once.. you may see hints of their true selves from time to time as they most likely really want to be themselves.. but hiding for some unknown reason.. I try not to guess anymore about these types of mysteries .. when a person is ready I feel they will just be themselves! This world is a hard place and I feel everyone hides a little and lives behind the masks.. truly sad.. thank you for reminding me what I see in others everyday and sharing.. I can relate to you! =)

This one is haunting, beginning with the title; I like that. But my eyes are brown, Ralphy. lol. Seriously though, imagery is wonderful. Those freckles! Cute.

So often we hide behind those windows, yes? Hoping for the one who really sees.

Gorgeous.
