Forbidden Love

Forbidden Love

A Poem by Ralphy

Forbidden love

The fruits blossoms in the mist of the day

As fragments of love, linger along the way

A touch of a finger, a toe, your lips

Gives a wonderful release to the unloved grip

Your voice, your words, all heard in the sanity of time

A beating of a drum, echoing deep into the caverns of our mind

The river slowly rises, reaching to that magical crest

Floodgates open, as the pressure attempts to relieve the stress

The heat of the moment evaporates into vapors, as droplets cry

Air rushes by, as the breezes opens the door, kissing you on the fly

I’m mesmerized by your touch as it grabs my attention thereof

I realize now that to be with you would be a forbidden love

But why would it be forbidden Ralphy? You have aroused my curiousity with this sensual piece. I like your sensual side very much, and there is an air of mystery to this beautiful work which enhances the attractiveness of it.

I really enjoy the lines pertaining to touch as it is through touch that all those forbidden secrets and desires are revealed.

I would thoroughly enjoy 'Forbidden Love' Part II... although that my friend, is the decision of the poet. Fantastic chemistry in the verse. Exquisite, Ralphy!!!

Beautiful Ralphy! So subtle.....nuances of love that are delightful to the lovers......some of the times most cherished.....a touch here and there.....a kiss on the fly. Sweet and romantic!

forbidden love seems to be the topic of many writers lately!
This certainly does arouse the curiousity as "Apollonia" said in her review. I am leaving this now to go on to Part II...perhaps I'll find answers there?
