The Morning Sun Kisses My Eyes

The Morning Sun Kisses My Eyes

A Poem by Ralphy

Morning Sun Kisses My Eyes

Each drop of rain that falls upon my head, triggers a memory of you
For this drop has a bond that holds it tightly together with no hidden secrets
Each ray of light traveling millions of miles actuates your warmth in my thoughts
For this ray, warms the earth, trees, oceans and every living soul, with no restrictions

Each gust of wind that circulates the globe reminds me of your wonderful embrace
For each gust, sweeps clean the land, making way for new life, as it magically appears
Each grain of sand that lays naked on the beach gives reminisce of you in your perfectness
For each grain shares the world with all those many grains of sand, each more than welcome

Each rock at the bottom of the stream rekindles my vision of you as we strolled along the shore
For each rock, scattered along the waterway, shares their hopes and dreams; no two the same
Each leaf the fills the wonderful maple invokes the love I shared with you each day
For each leaf, shared precious moments to natured, while drinking merrily each drop of water

Each single thing in this world reminds me of you, then and now. with beauty as it shines
For each thing have the same qualities as you, and shares it with warmth and understanding
So, to that first raindrop that shared my memories of you, you reminded me that you are still here
Enjoying those special moments that only you and I see, when the morning sun, kisses my eyes

A very good description to match someone who is special. Being able to share life with one who means a lot is such a beautiful and wonderful experience. It gives you a whole different view of the world. Everything around seems an amazing sight to behold. Such is an inspiring piece.

I got to say my favorite from you Ralphy... to compare raindrops to every memory of a loved one is brilliant and compassionate... I just think this is just a masterpiece of love's memory.
