The DropA Poem by RalphyFollowing a tear dropIn this drop of water is a reflection of me as it begins to fall through gravity, I start to see children playing in the fields with a canvas of green my eyes twinkle at the presences of this delightful scene Their laughter rocks the drops’ as it continues to fall like the reverberation of a guitar strumming in the hall the dancing shakes the ground with their creative fun not a care in the world as our drop meets the sun Through the crystal drop, lilies are reaching to be set free the yellow snapdragons are whipping along, next to the trees in the distances, one can see that the maple stands with the oak the earth fresh scent, arises from last night’s soak As the drop gets closer to that magical point of destination I notice, across the land, in a darken corner, a new creation a winged creature that looks like a person with a glowing aura a finger pointing to just above the heart while holding a golden torah Words whispering through the leaves, peaceful but with distortion as I tried to decipher the true meaning, all I could get, was a portion I think it went like this, True love lies in the barriers of surroundings, in the confines of one’s heart to know it, you must touch it, not with your fingers, for you don’t want it to depart You must touch it with your heart and adhere it with the boundaries of your soul once they meet, the clouds will disappear and all the pieces will become whole out of the confusion will come your compassion that will liquefies in your mind then your arms can reach, and hands touch, the very warmth, that was lost in time For this love will shatter any remnants of the past; the walls blocked your path the cleansing begins to heal all those wounds, as you wade around in the cool bath now washed away from all those thoughts that harbored the strains that love found the crystal drop of water draws near its end as its reflection fades into the ground
