A welcome surprise

A welcome surprise

A Poem by Ralphy

A welcome surprise

She closed my eyes
and said I could not peek
then asked me so pleasantly
to open my mouth
and I could not resist,
as she slipped a surprise
into my mouth.

My tongue began to scrabble,
wiggling in a frightful way
as if it wanted to jump out
into the evening air
and run for cover.

 I almost started to gasp
then she placed her lips
on mine
and my tongue relaxed
and savored the flavor
of the melting cube.
