Last Night

Last Night

A Poem by Ralphy
"

My wishful thinking

"

Last night

was a foggy night

a snowy night

a windy night

a freezing night

but all in all

a glorious night

I sat there

in my thermos

at the window

looking outside

as the branches moved

as the ice flew

decorating the ground

forming an igloo

I grabbed my coat

picked up sticks

built a fire

curled up inside

listened to

sounds drifting by

You saw the smoke

hiked to me

asked if

I wanted company

of course, I agreed

viewing your rosy cheeks

your charm and wit

seem to arouse me

We snuggled up

like a couple of cubs

in our wintery den

for a long winter’s night…

So last night

was a foggy night

a snowy night

a windy night

a freezing night

but it was

the night I met you.

Also - check where you use capital letters.
