Let's reminisce

A Poem by AlyssaAbomination
"

Remember when you cared? Oh wait I forgot, you never did.

"

Remember the memories we had?

There were some good, but now all I remember is the bad.

Walking down my street hand in hand,

Having dreams of kissing you, toes in the sand.

So easy it was to love you,

So easy it was to trust you,

But I dug too deep, too soon

and the only thing I uncovered was lust.

It shattered,

It crushed every piece of hope I had.

Maybe it was me, maybe it was you.

Maybe everything seemed too good to be true.

Everything good has to end.

You can't bend the rule.

History always repeats itself all too often.

Karma always has it's way,

But if I may, I hope it damages you the most,

Then what will you have to boast about?

Because of you there's memories I can't forget,

I wonder how your heart is doing now

Mine no longer beats with life,

Because you stuck a knife there,

Expecting me to live through it,

Not caring if it killed me to bits.

Solution: Pull the knife out, stab them...if only we lived in a world where you could do it literally. :D ...I mean technically it's only illegal and frowned upon but it IS possible.
