Loose ScrewsA Poem by J. B.free-verse
Where are you? Step into the light.
My eyes, they will adjust to the dark that does surround you. I know you're just lashing out from the pain you've held onto before I ever came around. And your bark is just as big as your bite, just with double rows of sharp enamel words. We fight tooth and claw for the make up, or at least we used to. Now we just have broken skin, bloody knuckles and bruised intentions. You and I are just two loose screws rolling on the pavement; The only thing we have in common anymore. © 2017 J. B.Reviews
