Beige world

Beige world

A Poem by BackintheUSSR3.0

Clouds of beige are rolling in

Slowly, slowly, but slowly surely

Dull contours swallowed up the waves of blue

There is no colour here

The simple towns are painted in a coat of beige

Tiny people simply stare

Letting the clouds swallow them too

Every last one of them

But yet she remains

Swallowing up the streets

The beige clouds deafen the music

A screeching that goes unheard

But can she hear me?

Beige droplet plummet

Igniting the ocean in a constant ripple

Those waters are polluted

Shore to shore, the sands were blown away

Glance across the way, can she see me?

Beige clouds swallow up the Earth

Where once was a battle of war and love

Ranging from day to day, man to woman

Is now an empire of Beige.
