Heart of a Warrior

Remain strong and grounded in who you are, no matter the storm or struggle.

Stands tall and proud a vision towards the sky

In shade it protects those vulnerable below

Branches spread far shudder with a sigh

Years of history and blessings bestow

Life grows within simple gifts unseen

Tear it down tear it down the wood we need

Roots never die gnarled deep in the earth

Buds from a seed thus sparks its rebirth

Crashing skies the thunder speaks

Your strength will break give it time you'll see

No one withstands the power you seek

After all a tree is all you were ever meant to be

Hush there's a quiver despite lightening stains

Unique this brave warrior it does remain still

Battered, bruised, yet alive it remains

Carry on soldier, keep your faith, hold your will

Thank you and I will definitely consider punctuation mattavelli. It's something I've debated over for years as I like to leave that to the reader to depict where it ends, begins, etc. :)
