Sweet little girl growing so fast

What happens before stays in the past

One day you'll see what you mean to me

This world, this life, all yours to see

Sweet teenage years brutal at best

Make each lesson a challenge, a test

Experience much discover your dreams

Remember my dear not all is as it seems

Sweet gorgeous woman smiling still

Works hard but loves no matter the gain

Amazing the changes when you have the will

Zoey, this is a touching piece you have written and is delicate and heart telling. I love the repetition in this piece which is a true trait of free verse. I like how this piece starts out and ends:

"Baby"
"Little girl"
"Teenage"
"Woman"

You go through each stage of this girls life. I believe this is your child and it is obvious that you love her so. What a lovely piece you have written here Zoey. Each poem I read from you I enjoy more and more. Truly enjoy your style and not any "forced" words at all. You have the talent I search for.
