The Artists' Tale

The Artists' Tale

A Poem by Zoey Ree
"

This poem depicts all artists in the world who have struggled.

"
Whispering winds and starry skies
Light up the thoughts of the wandering mind
Somewhere inside the imagery tries
To only be heard and not left behind

Joyous calls of the spirited wild
Beckon to the wistful soul
Sadly neglected like the orphaned child
Not heard again life's taken its toll

Endless pleas pierce the heart
Cares so greatly with passion deep
Tries to answer not fall apart
Efforts will flourish and benefits will reap

This is the artists' tale ~ each soul, each heart

I agree there is a spirit within that needs to express in whatever way it can. Had this been written 5 years ago and posted here, you would be receiving many reviews for this and other poems you've written. Alas, this site has changed being the review-friendly writers have left.
