Conflicting Emotions

I feel like I can fly,

Take out all my problems,

With no need to try.

 

I feel like I’m breaking down,

Trapped in this cage,

No door to escape.

 

I feel like I’ll never fall,

Hurt me all you want,

You’re just another guy.

 

I feel like crying,

You all group together,

I’m never invited.

 

I feel like I’ll be happy,

All by myself,

No need for another by my side.

 

I feel like I won’t cry,

I’ve gotten stronger,

I’m controlled no longer.

 

I feel like I’m being pushed around,

You’re always lying,

And I’m never wanted.
