DecayA Poem by Pen The WillowsNot about me. Just a general poem. Her mind decays Her body decays Her life decays She decays
A constant cycle Cigarettes Alcohol Drugs
Each last a week, Maybe more, Maybe less, Each addiction ends
Onto the next one The next fix Anything that's illegal She'll buy
She doesn't care about the decay In fact, some say she welcomes it She calls to it in a caressing voice Telling it to come in
She doesn't want to live But can't seem to take her own life Allows the stimulants and depressants To slowly kill her from the inside out
She claws at her face Her arms Her torso Her legs
The drugs, The alcohol, The cigarettes. They are causing her to go insane
Her mind decays Her body decays Her life decays She decays © 2010 Pen The WillowsReviews
