First Love

This going to be a lot different from the other poems I've written. I'm warning you now.

Why does no one

Want a First

Love?

 

Because you can't get

Over a First

Love.

 

A First Love will

Throw your heart

Down.

 

Throw it on the

Ground and stomp

Hard.

 

A First Love will

Go away for

Awhile.

 

And then come back

And stomp hard

Again.

 

Over and over and

Over they'll stomp

Hard.

 

Until you're in tears

Begging them to

Stop.

 

But they won't because

They're like a

Rash.

 

They keep coming back

And back and

Back.

 

A First Love never

Really leaves you

Forever.

 

You will always recieve

Some kind of

Reminder.

 

You so badly want

To forget about

Them.

 

But they refuse

To stay

Behind.
