Rooftop

Rooftop

A Poem by Pen The Willows

There's a
Reassuring smile
On your
Face

And a
Glittering shimmer
In your
Eyes

And
I
Can't
Help

Fall for
You
Even more
Than before

If
I
Walked
Forever

I wouldn't
Be close
Enough to
You

But
That
Is
Okay

Because
I
Want
You

Here
With
Me
Forever

Can you
Hear
My shouted
Whispers?

Or do
You believe
It is just
The wind?

Should I
Scream my
Feelings from
The Rooftops?

Or would
A letter
Be the
Best way?

Tell me
Please
Before my love
Fades away
