Finding her

Finding her

A Poem by B.k.

She walked in amidst a forest of people, she could barely be seen through the glimpses of space that are made by the crowd, yet I know she is there.
The undulating masses grant me flashes of her brilliance, as she moves with a quiet grace, like the sun peeking through grey skies, a moment of beauty.
Trying to maintain the each passing glance a little longer, I move with the waves of the crowds.
To embrace her raven locks as they pass between two men toasting another night, to hold her elegant gait as she sidesteps the inebriated girl that just can’t seem to stand straight, to drown in her deep eyes as she looks for her place.
The flickers of radiance propel me into motion, swimming though this storm of people to find that place, that feeling, that peace.
