The Stand

Inspired by a 19 year old man who served in the Navy. His bravery will never be forgotten. GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!!!!

I took the stand.
I felt alive.
I had my fears,
but fought with pride.

I stood my ground
and fought the fight,
While children at home
slept safe at night.

There were times I laughed
and times I cried,
but thoughts of backing down
never crossed my mind.

Would I do it again, you ask?

Yes.On any given day,
all for your freedom
I'm a soldier of
