OUR SONGA Story by Babbette FrancisMy life has always been a battle at a spiritual level. My main writing interest is in dark arts. I love writing it. But this is a testimony that I need to share. It came in a huge battle in my life.
I had a dream a few nights ago. In it there was a song being sang in the background. A choir singing it. I woke up with this song on my mind and couldn't shake it. It has stayed with me. It was beautiful. I sang that song for the last few days. The only problem was I only had pieces of the song, but just enough to want to learn it all. I thought maybe I had heard what I knew from a playlist somewhere, so my son and I looked it up and it returned nothing. It was then I knew to believe my heart, when I felt this song was just for me. But I still wanted to learn more then bits. But how? This time I listened to my heart when it said to ask Jesus to help me finish it. So I prayed, praising God for the words he had given me and petitioning him, through Jesus for the rest of it, because I admired it so much. I began to sing the words I knew, with pen in hand and the words began to flow. The
title was also brought to heart after I realized this was a love song and I had only coauthored it with the love of my life, Jesus Christ. OUR SONG I know you laugh when you want to cry. You look so happy but you're sad inside. Be joyous for me, I'll tell you why. ... I feel through you ... I feel through you You may not know which way to go, but in this walk, you don't walk alone. Just let me lead and I'll lead you home. ... I feel through you ... I feel through you And on the day that we will wed, eyes will widen when they turn their heads. It'll be then that they understand. ... I feel through you ... I feel through you Be joyous for me, you don't walk alone. You're the one that I'm leading home. Our Wedding day they'll understand how I'm leading you to the promise land ... I feel through you. ... I feel through you. © 2019 Babbette FrancisAuthor's Note
