Family backstory : for a few years of Morigann’s life, her parents fought and separated. Under age, her fate to stay with her father was sealed by the court. Her father, though known to be a part of a wealthy family, squandered his fortune while still young, that leaving the family in a tight situation. Morigann, who was 14 at the time, worked for family and neighbors to help keep a small amount of money in the house. By the time Richard got his sister to help in the house, the first tornado hit; 2 years later, her mother and grandmother were living with them at this point, the second tornado took her grandmother

She used to be a part of a cult (yet to be named) and this was where she met Monti. On a specific meeting day (9/11), their leader  (Warwick Conroy) asked that Morigann conjure up a demon, a super powerful being, to destroy a part of mankind so that their cult could spread and hopefully prosper. She refused, knowing she would likely lose her life in the process. She and Monti fled, fearing for themselves and the rest of the world, going from place to place, leaving one when someone begins to suspect them.
