Broken Dreams

I dream of me and her

Our fingers interlaced together

Our eyes stare agaze with no disturbance

As if the moment is never going to end

 

Her intriquette beauty and elegance

Seemingly takes my breath away

As I strain for air

The gleam of light in her eyes, take it away again

 

Then I wake up

The love I dreamed of is far away

Yet can be closer than you think

And almost impossible for me to recieve

 

So much competition

Competing against me

I want one chance

One shot, and prove my love to her

 

But the dream is shattered

Like grains of sand in gravel

So out of place

But completes each other
