The UnknownA Poem by B. Brown
I'm constantly reminded of the other flowers that are able to bloom but can't seem to get the seed I've planted to grow leaves
All of these roots have spread throughout this vase but are confined by the walls of glass that can only be seen by the outside More by more the roots start to put pressure on the vase, cracking it, allowing only the strongest roots to push through and spread out They connect to other strong roots from the other plants that had roots strong enough to break their vases Then this new supply of nutrients is carried between new plants creating new buds which eventually bloom into something new Unless the plants reject each other, and start fighting for nutrients until there's none left Leaving both of them wilted and dying But it all depends on the strength of the roots to break free of that vase That vase that confines the potential of the plant to bud and bloom You'll never know if your flower will be left wilted, but a wilted flower drops new seeds, allowing new plants to grow outside of that vase that once confined them That's the beauty of it. -B.B. © 2015 B.
