Secrets

A Poem by Aarea

Secrets I can’t keep,

I am met on all sides with apathy,

Hungry curiosity,

Tell me your life.

Secrets I want to keep,

Cold fingers reach up,

Pry open my mouth,

I tell them.

Secrets already gone,

Floating through the school,

Falling on lips,

She told them my life.

Good - I like this one. It is light, accessible and with a nice bit of humour. We can all relate to this for we all have our secrets.
Well done,
Alan
would'll d you like to look at my new story 'I am Eve'.
Thanks

how sad this one feels... overtones of gossip and maybe bullying? perhaps I rightfully detect a sense of betrayal? good piece.. very deep
