Hidden Love

Hidden Love

A Poem by Aarea

When Rain falls on the hills,

I can remember you.

I remember the rain that fell on my face,

Mixing with my tears,

As I watched you fall on that hill,

And I had to hide your body.

Hidden love? sounds like a pun.. really good work was not expecting that last line

Wow, a very interesting poem that turns abruptly dark and leaves you asking for answers to why the body had to be hidden or why did he or she fall on that hill to begin with. It hints of war, to me, perhaps some sort of civil war or rebellion. Very mysterious.
